Creighton Manning, a GAI company, is seeking a Highway Engineer-In-Training 1 (0-2 years) to join our Highway group in Albany, NY. The role includes field work, traffic analysis, and 2D/3D design, with opportunities to progress under supervision of senior engineers.

Responsibilities include preparing drawings, QA/QC, coordinating with municipalities, and participating in project meetings. An ABET/EAC accredited degree and EIT are required; AutoCAD or MicroStation experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program or equivalent.
• Experience level: 0–2 years for Engineer-In-Training 1.
• EIT certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform field data collection and basic engineering analysis.
• Assist with highway design, traffic impact studies, and long-range planning.
• Prepare construction drawings and documents; participate in QA/QC of own and junior engineers' work.
• Support cost estimating and coordination with municipalities/agencies.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff and contribute to reports.
