Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain.
• Must pass a criminal history background check.
• Current teaching certificate from the state is preferred.
• Ability to travel between campuses.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, concentrate, and move throughout campus.
• Local and in-state travel required.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional activities that engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, speaking, mathematical, scientific, historical, geographical, and citizenship skills.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Use direct instruction techniques to promote student growth.
• Assess curricular needs and propose improvement plans.
• Maintain effective and efficient student records.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
• Model professional and ethical standards.
• Support continuous student growth and achievement.
• Participate in training and staff meetings; meet deadlines and schedules.
• Evaluate student learning and celebrate achievements.
• Encourage students to uphold school values and mature behavior.
• Travel between campuses as required.
• Participate in events outside normal hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
