Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. You will report to and assist the Senior Graphic Designer and collaborate with the marketing department. Your role will be crucial in onboarding clients (insurance agents) and supporting their marketing efforts by designing high-quality materials in line with brand guidelines and deadlines. Candidates should have strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. Please submit a portfolio of your past work with your application.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Design print marketing collateral and digital assets for in-house and client projects
2. Create proofs of concept and final solutions for logos, direct mailers, and brochures
3. Collaborate with team members and communicate project updates to managers
4. Conduct market research and understand target demographics
5. Problem solve and pitch creative ideas
6. Organize and maintain project files
7. Receive and incorporate feedback effectively

Primary Skills & Requirements

1. 1-2 years of experience in an internship or graphic design role
2. A portfolio demonstrating creativity and professionalism
3. At least 2 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
4. Familiarity with tools like Asana, Canva, and Google/Microsoft suites
5. Attention to detail in layout, margins, and spacing
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Willingness to learn about our niche industry and create targeted content
8. Must be local to Raleigh, NC, or surrounding areas
9. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design preferred
10. Experience purchasing marketing materials for clients is a plus
