Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering or related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification with goal to pursue PE.
• Interest in geotechnical fieldwork and analytical work.
• Basic technical writing skills at college level.

Responsibilities

• Field Investigations & Exploration: soil borings, drilling oversight, monitoring well installation, soil/rock classification, in-situ testing, sample collection.
• Data Analysis & Technical Support: analyze subsurface conditions, support lab testing, interpret data, assist engineering evaluations.
• Reporting & Documentation: prepare data tables/figures, compare to standards, assist in writing technical reports.
• Construction & Environmental Inspections: inspect sites, document conditions, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaboration & Communication: coordinate with drilling contractors, labs, vendors, and clients.
