Sterling Labs in Des Plaines, IL, seeks a GC Analyst to manage sample workload, run GC/HPLC analyses, and report results in ELEMENT 7 and LIMS, supporting DoD and environmental testing programs.

You will calibrate instruments, prepare standards, ensure data quality, and collaborate with the Organic Team Lead to meet client objectives while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• BS/BA in chemistry or related field required; chemistry background preferred.
• MS Office (Word/Excel/Access) proficiency expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Manage sample workload to meet reporting deadlines.
• Upload and review results in Sterling Lab's LIMS.
• Quantify and qualify results based on the analytical method and SOP.
• Report accurate and on-time data in ELEMENT 7.
• Calibrate instrumentation according to SOPs and maintain instruments.
• Prepare standards and reagents; assist other analysts as needed.
• Communicate workload status and data quality issues to Team Lead.
