Job summary

Pingle Game Studio is seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join the team for testing games on console, PC, and VR. The role focuses on port testing to current and previous generation consoles, checking performance and helping improve titles.

The six-month contract involves functional and regression testing, bug reporting, and maintaining test docs. Candidates should have basic QA knowledge and English at an intermediate level or higher.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience as a QA Engineer.
• Passion for video games and growth in game development.
• Solid knowledge of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Experience creating test documentation (checklists, bug reports).
• Understanding of the full dev and testing lifecycle of a commercial game.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of games across platforms.
• Conduct smoke and sanity testing.
• Execute test cases and checklists.
• Participate in internal playtests, including multiplayer testing.
• Identify, document, and report bugs.
• Maintain test docs in Confluence and track issues in Jira.
