Job summary

Cypress Creek Energy is hiring a Junior Fund Manager/Fund Manager to help manage financing agreements, cash waterfalls, budgets, and forecasts for renewable energy projects. The role emphasizes financial administration, project finance, and rigorous data analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a finance background, 1–3 years of relevant experience in renewables, strong Excel skills, and a proactive mindset to improve processes and drive cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• 1-3+ years total professional experience with 1-2 years in portfolio/fund management, asset management, project finance, or related roles in renewables.
• Basic understanding of project finance and tax equity structures.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
• Renewables experience preferred; strong Excel and financial systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fund waterfalls for operating funds with monthly forecasts and asset-manager reviews.
• Monitor cash flows, liquidity, and funding for debt service and distributions to investors.
• Calculate cash distributions and optimize liquidity with compliance of financing agreements.
• Prepare reports for investors and coordinate debt service payments with accountants.
• Support valuation analyses for tax equity buyouts and assist with budgets and ad hoc reporting.
