Beloy is seeking a hands-on Junior Front-End Developer to build high-quality, customer-facing products. You will translate business requirements into a product vision and work with the team from development to delivery, including client-facing activities.

The role emphasizes HTML/CSS/JavaScript, REST API consumption, and collaboration with designers, product managers and engineers across markets and languages. Hybrid work in Paris is offered.

Qualifications

• Solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with ability to build responsive interfaces.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and JSON; interest in backend (Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflow (pull requests, code reviews).
• Experience with multilingual products and accessibility work is a plus.
• Mobile app development experience is a plus; insurance/regulated industry exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the front end of the Beloy platform, including enrolment journeys and customer portals.
• Develop responsive, accessible interfaces for mobile and desktop.
• Integrate frontend with APIs, handle auth, forms, file uploads, and error states; contribute to Node.js backend when needed.
• Instrument journeys with analytics and A/B tests to improve conversion.
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and follow security standards.
• Support CI/CD, monitoring and deployment across cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Build demos/prototypes for sales and participate in client discussions to translate requirements into plans.

Your Mission

We are looking for a hands-on Junior Front-End Developer who can build high-quality, customerfacing products. You will report to the Senior Design & Marketing Manager and work closely with the whole team, taking ownership of features from development through delivery and growing your skills across the front end and the APIs behind it. The role also has a client-facing side: you will help translate business requirements into a product vision and a practical way to set it up.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the front end of the Beloy insurance platform: enrolment journeys, customer portals and claim flows used by our partners’ customers across several markets and languages.

• Develop responsive, accessible interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, turning designs into production-ready screens that work on mobile and desktop.

• Integrate the front end with our APIs, handling authentication, forms, file uploads, loading and error states, and contribute to the API layer in Node.js when a feature requires it.

• Instrument the journeys you build with analytics and A/B tests, and use the results to improve conversion.

• Write and maintain tests, take part in code reviews, and follow consistent engineering and security standards.

• Support testing, CI/CD, monitoring and deployment practices across AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.

• Build demos and prototypes from our existing components to support the sales team and speed up the sales process.

• Take part in client conversations, helping translate business requirements into a product vision and a clear plan for how it can be set up.

What you will bring2 to 4 years of professional experience in web development, with at least one project taken from build to production.Solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and the ability to build clean, responsive interfaces without relying on a framework.Working knowledge of consuming REST APIs and JSON, with an interest in learning the backend side (Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL).Familiarity with Git and a collaborative development workflow, including pull requests and code reviews.Working knowledge of AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude, and the judgement to review and test what they produce.Comfort with accessibility and performance: semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, colour contrast, and pages that load fast on any device.Experience building conversion-centred flows: multi-step forms and enrolment journeys with clear progress, inline validation and as little friction as possible.Familiarity with A/B testing and tracking: setting up variants, instrumenting events and funnels with tools such as Google Tag Manager, GA4 or Umami, and reading the results with the team.Good communication and collaboration skills, including with clients: you can explain technical topics in plain language and help turn business requirements into a product vision the team can build.Mobile app development experience is a plus: we are preparing a Beloy SDK that partners will embed in their own apps.Experience with multilingual products (i18n, right-to-left layouts) and deeper accessibility work is a plus.A curious, pragmatic and improvement-oriented mindset; experience with Angular, Tailwind, testing tools, or in insurance, financial services or another regulated industry is an advantage
