Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory in Logan, UT seeks a junior FPGA design engineer to support design, fabrication, test and integration of space electronics. You will participate in payload algorithm discernment, development and testing within CVS Division.

Responsibilities include owning design blocks from concept to test and collaborating with internal and external teams on verification and integration. Requires a U.S. person with relevant hardware and software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical and/or computer engineering required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other U.S. Person.
• Comfortable with basic digital/analog circuits and FPGA design.
• Experience with embedded software and ground support equipment.
• Proficient in automated test scripting and FPGA debugging tools.
• Experience with static timing analysis and timing closure.
• Hands-on testing and handling of space electronics in a lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, fabrication, test and support of space electronics.
• Own assigned block of design from concept to integration and test.
• Work with internal and external electronics teams on verification.
