Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, seeks a Digital Electrical Engineer I in Marlborough, MA. You will design and develop next‑generation circuit card assemblies and FPGA‑based solutions thriving in an agile, cross‑functional team alongside systems, mechanical, and software engineers.

You will contribute across the full lifecycle—from architectural concepts to production release—working with AMD, Altera, and Microchip architectures and using HDL coding, verification, and high‑reliability embedded

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• Experience or coursework with Digital Electronics, Circuit Design/Analysis, Digital Design, or HDL coding targeting configurable logic devices.
• Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment for circuit characterization, debugging, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations.
• Model digital algorithms, partition design functions, and write high‑reliability code for embedded processing systems.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on layout and routing.
• Integrate and validate hardware designs in a laboratory environment with advanced test instrumentation against system requirements.
