Job summary

Addison Group in California is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. You will support monthly/quarterly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis while partnering with leadership to turn financial data into actionable insights.

You’ll build management reports, perform variance analysis, and work on SOX controls, commissions, and ad hoc analyses to drive business decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1+ year of FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Strong Excel skills with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic financial modeling.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with strong ownership and communication skills.
• Interest in process improvement, automation, and AI-powered financial tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with insightful commentary.
• Develop management reporting and variance analysis against forecast.
• Analyze labor efficiency, ASP, COGS, and branch performance.
• Support SOX compliance and quarterly revenue reporting.
• Calculate monthly commissions and quarterly bonuses.
• Perform financial modeling and ad hoc analysis for decisions.
• Assist with process improvement, automation, and reporting enhancements.
• Validate reports and maintain data accuracy and documentation.
