Job summary

Addison Group in Bellevue, WA is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our energy services client’s finance team. The role focuses on FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to drive operational and financial improvements.

You will develop monthly dashboards, KPI reporting, and financial models, partner with accounting and operations, and support month-end close. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, advanced Excel, and experience with Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, modeling, and performance metrics.
• Advanced Excel, pivot tables, and financial modeling skills.
• Experience creating executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly dashboards, KPI reporting, and management reporting packages.
• Analyze financial and operational performance metrics and provide leadership with insights.
• Monitor budgeted costs and ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and identify drivers and trends.
• Support annual budgeting with data collection, consolidation, and reporting.
• Assist departments in developing budgets and forecasts.
• Track budgeting deadlines and ensure timely deliverables.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports and analyses for senior management.
• Develop financial models to support planning, initiatives, and investments.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations to ensure data accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for FP&A process improvements and efficiency.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities.
