The Addison Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a highly analytical FP&A professional to join its expanding finance team in Irvine, CA. This newly created role offers meaningful financial modeling, enterprise-wide planning, and strategic analysis with close collaboration with finance leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently build and maintain integrated three-statement financial models.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, scenario modeling, and large-scale model architecture.
• Experience working with large datasets; SQL, Power Query, or similar tools are a plus.
• Experience with EPM/planning platforms such as Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion, or similar.
• Power BI, Tableau, or comparable reporting and visualization experience.
• Manufacturing, multi-site operations, or another complex operating environment strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated three-statement financial models supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop scenario analyses and financial models to evaluate business performance, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
• Extract, organize, and analyze large financial and operational datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
• Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and consolidated financial reporting.
• Partner with finance leadership on multi-site operational performance, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial analysis and supporting schedules for executive leadership, Board, and lender presentations.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial models, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities.
