Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Simulator Maintenance Technician I to perform day-to-day maintenance on aircrew training devices including WST, BOT, FuT, PTT and Learning Center equipment. The role requires following maintenance manuals, detailed instructions, and working under supervision to ensure compliance with SOPs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, some electronics training, 1–3 years’ simulator experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED, electronics training strongly preferred.
• Associate’s degree or VoTech program in electronics highly desirable.
• Experience with aviation/electronics systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance of aircrew training devices (WST, BOT, FuT, PTT, Learning Center).
• Follow maintenance manuals and SOPs; seek guidance from supervisors as needed.
• Localize and replace defective parts; use wiring/schematic diagrams for circuits.
• Document maintenance actions, manage work orders and inventory records.
• Provide basic networking support and equipment testing as required.
