Job summary

FlightSafety International Inc. is seeking a Simulator Maintenance Technician I to perform day-to-day maintenance on aircrew training devices across several trainer platforms.

You will follow detailed manuals, replace defective parts, document activities, and support networking and IT aspects of the training devices. A SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one is a disclosed expectation, with CompTIA A+ certification preferred or attainable within 1 year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; electronics training preferred.
• Associate degree or VocTech program in electronics is highly desirable.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred or obtainable within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on aircrew training devices per manuals.
• Localize and replace defective parts down to component level.
• Document maintenance actions and repair status in the logistics system.
• Coordinate with supervision for new or advanced assignments.
• Provide basic networking and information systems support on training devices.
