Job summary
FlightSafety International is seeking an experienced technician to troubleshoot, repair, and modify production electronic components and systems in aircraft flight simulators. You will coordinate with engineers to ensure proper operation and documentation, working on power distribution, panels, and related hardware.
The role requires extensive use of test equipment, lab tools, and schematic interpretation, with domestic and international travel as part of duties.
Qualifications
- AS in Electronic Technology, avionics or related field.
- 4 or more years' experience or equivalent Military training.
- Experience with electrical systems in aircraft simulators and power distribution.
Responsibilities
- Installs, modifies, repairs, and tests simulator electrical panels and related systems.
- Coordinates with electrical, mechanical and software engineers for documentation and performance.
- Troubleshoots power distribution systems and circuits up to 480VAC.
- Sets up test equipment, interprets schematics and drawings.
- Mentors junior technicians and supports on-site installations.
