Job summary

Gravity Power, LLC is seeking an entry-level Mechanic 1 to support fleet maintenance and keep equipment on the rental ready line. You will learn product knowledge and branch standards while following procedures at local, regional, and national levels.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, equipment testing, and basic repairs under supervision; requires staying organized, lifting 50+ pounds, and good communication. Driver's license is required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
Some knowledge in electrical and hydraulic systems; willingness to read schematics.
Own a suitable selection of hand and air/electric tools.
Able to operate and test equipment such as boom lifts, forklifts, generators, hydraulics, pumps, etc.

Responsibilities

Follows a consistent schedule of preventative maintenance for Gravity-owned fleet.
Operates and tests equipment to meet Gravity quality standards.
Performs routine maintenance and repairs (oil changes, lubrication, tire replacements, etc.) under supervision.
Diagnoses rental equipment with assistance from senior mechanics.
Enters work orders in fleet management system.
Maintains clean, organized work area; completes safety trainings.
