Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking an entry-level Firmware Engineer to work on UEFI firmware development and ARM-based boot firmware integration for next-generation hardware platforms. The role involves close collaboration with senior engineers across hardware, silicon, and software teams.

You will contribute to board bring-up, validation, and debugging activities in a fast-paced environment while gaining hands-on experience with TF-A and related boot components.

Qualifications

Strong academic foundation in embedded systems, computer architecture, and firmware development.
Assist senior engineers on UEFI firmware development and ARM-based boot firmware integration.
Collaborate with hardware, silicon, and software teams to troubleshoot firmware and system-level issues.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development, testing, and debugging of UEFI firmware for new and existing hardware platforms.
Support firmware porting and integration for new hardware platforms under guidance of senior engineers.
Participate in board bring-up, power-on validation, and basic hardware debugging.
Collaborate with hardware, silicon, and software teams to troubleshoot firmware and system-level issues.
Assist in the integration and validation of ARM Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A) and related boot firmware components.
