Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a motivated Firmware Engineer (Entry Level / Fresh Graduate) to work with senior engineers on UEFI firmware development and ARM-based boot firmware integration for next-generation hardware platforms.

You will assist in board bring-up, power-on validation, and basic hardware debugging, collaborating with hardware, silicon, and software teams to resolve issues and integrate TF-A alongside related boot firmware components.

Qualifications

• Entry level firmware engineer with a strong academic foundation in embedded systems, computer architecture, and firmware development.
• Work closely with senior engineers on UEFI firmware development, platform bring-up, and ARM-based boot firmware integration.
• Collaborate with hardware, silicon, and software teams to troubleshoot firmware and system-level issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, testing, and debugging of UEFI firmware for new and existing hardware platforms.
• Support firmware porting and integration activities for new hardware platforms under senior engineers.
• Participate in board bring-up, power-on validation, and basic hardware debugging activities.
• Collaborate with hardware, silicon, and software teams to troubleshoot firmware and system-level issues.
• Assist in the integration and validation of ARM Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A) and related boot firmware components.
