Job summary

Telgian Corporation in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Jr. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a full-time in-office role. You will support inspection and repair of fire suppression and alarm systems, acting as a customer advocate to verify scope/costs and ensure regulatory compliance.

Reports to the Supervisor of Repair Operations. You will review scopes, coordinate with vendors, respond 24/7 as escalation point, and contribute to reports and technical documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• AA or equivalent from a two-year college; 6–12 months related experience.
• Industry experience not required but preferred; customer service/estimating background helpful.

Responsibilities

• Review scopes of work, validate costs, and prepare repair proposals.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, and authorities to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Manage complex or recurring issues beyond a typical work order.
• Act as 24/7 escalation point to resolve fire system issues remotely.
• Review vendor recommendations and authorize modified scopes when needed.
• Prepare quotes or request additional information as required.
• Write reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Support technical development with training programs and standard documents.
