Job summary

JUSDA Supply Chain North America is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to support daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and basic profitability analysis.

The role assists with reconciliations, reviews data for discrepancies, and supports AP/AR/GL activities. Training will be provided by the Finance Manager to ensure accuracy and growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, and filtering.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow up with colleagues on outstanding items.
• Ability to manage routine tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gross margin analysis by project, customer, and business line, and help identify significant revenue and cost differences.
• Review financial and operational data to help identify billing discrepancies, missing costs, and data entry errors.
• Support accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) activities as needed.
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations, including preparing supporting schedules and following up on outstanding items.
• Help prepare routine financial reports and explain basic changes in revenue, expenses, and account balances.
• Extract and organize data from company systems and maintain Excel reports.
• Work with Finance and Operations teams to clarify discrepancies and update records.
• Assist with other accounting and reporting tasks as assigned.

• Logistics industry experience is helpful but not required.
