Responsibilities

• Gathers, compiles, organizes and documents relevant financial information.
• Analyzes, consolidates and interprets financial data.
• Assists with preparation of budgets, including trend analysis and forecasting.
• Assists in preparation of detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management.
• Monitors actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts and budgets.
• Consolidates operating and financial projections for short- and long-term plans.
• Reviews, evaluates and recommends revisions to departmental expenditures.
• Reviews resolutions and committee agendas for financial commitments.
• Reviews County-wide spending and advises on budget transfers and appropriations.
• Verifies and reviews daily deposit sheets for county departments.
• Prepares departmental invoices and various reports.
• Assists with Tort Liability reconciliation and insurance matters.
• Maintains the budget system.
