Job summary

Terracon, located in Oklahoma City, seeks a field/ laboratory testing assistant to perform basic testing and observational tasks on construction materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, and steel. You will document results and support project managers with data submission and reporting.

Under supervision, you will advance toward greater responsibilities, maintain equipment, and uphold rigorous safety and quality standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in testing/inspection or related field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Assist on field and laboratory testing and observation under supervision.
• Document findings clearly and ensure data accuracy for submittal.
• Communicate results with Project Manager and others; submit documentation as directed.
• Maintain and clean equipment and vehicles; assist with scheduling crew when needed.
• Follow safety rules and ensure quality standards on all projects.
