Job summary

Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) seeks a Contract Analyst to support our contracting team. The ideal candidate has federal contracting experience, DAWIA Level I certification, and the ability to manage pre- and post-award documentation in accordance with FAR/DFARS and DHA guidelines.

The role requires strong analytical skills, effective written communication, and the ability to coordinate with DHA Procurement Support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 credit hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Federal government or contractor employee in GS-1102 or equivalent as a contract specialist/administrator or procurement analyst.
• Must be DAWIA Contracting Level I certified or have graduate education substituted for experience.
• Ability to obtain favorable adjudication for security clearance.
• Knowledge of the federal acquisition process and contracting laws.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver compliant pre- and post-award documentation per FAR/DFARS and DoD guidance.
• Support acquisition life cycle activities across purchasing, source selection, training, and financial analysis.
• Work independently, prioritize workload, and recommend overall contracting strategies.
• Provide monthly status reports on contracting actions to the COR and ATAMMC leadership.
• Coordinate with DHA Procurement Support and educate staff on contracting procedures.
