Job summary

BluePath Labs, a fast-growing research and consulting company, seeks Junior Contract Specialists to support federal contracting activities in Washington, DC. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, capable of obtaining/maintaining a government clearance, and have 2+ years in federal contracting or contract administration.

TS/SCI preferred but not required at application. Salary range: $56,000–$76,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supporting federal contracting or contract administration.
• Knowledge of FAR procedures relevant to the assignment.
• Ability to prepare routine drafts and supporting products for client review.

Responsibilities

• Support federal contracting personnel with pre-award and post-award activities under experienced review.
• Prepare routine drafts and supporting documentation for solicitations, awards, modifications, contract administration, and closeout.
• Maintain accurate contracting documents and organized contract files.
• Review supporting information and perform documentation completeness checks under experienced review.
• Track contractual actions and related documentation to support client review.
• Identify documentation issues and assist in resolving them with experienced reviewers and client contracting personnel.
• Prepare accurate support products and communicate clearly with client contracting personnel, who retain contracting decisions and approval authority.
