Candidates must be U.S. citizens, capable of obtaining/maintaining a government clearance, and have 2+ years in federal contracting or contract administration.

TS/SCI preferred but not required at application. Salary range: $56,000–$76,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Contract Specialist Jr. (Multiple Openings)

Location: Onsite - Washington, DC

Clearance: No active clearance required; TS/SCI preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Salary: $56,000 - $76,000

We are seeking candidates to fill multiple Junior Contract Specialist positions supporting a federal client's contracting personnel with pre-award and post-award activities. These roles will support solicitation, award, modification, administration, and closeout documentation, with routine drafts and completeness checks performed under experienced review.

Successful candidates will prepare routine contracting drafts, maintain contract files, review supporting information, track contractual actions, and perform documentation completeness checks under experienced review. Responsibilities include identifying and helping resolve documentation issues and preparing accurate support products for client review. Client contracting officials retain contracting decisions and approval authority.

U.S. citizenship is required. An active clearance is not required at the time of application; however, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. TS/SCI eligibility or an active TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to include in our proposal for an upcoming government contract. Applicants selected may be contacted for further steps if the contract is awarded.

Minimum Requirements:

• U. S. citizen
• 2 or more years supporting federal contracting or contract administration
• Knowledge of federal contracting procedures and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) appropriate to the assignment
• Ability to prepare routine drafts and support products for client review, maintain accurate documents and organized files, perform completeness checks under experienced review, and communicate clearly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant bachelor's degree or permitted equivalent
