Job summary

Salas O’Brien in Merritt Island, FL is seeking a Junior Facility Condition Assessor to support FCA and PCA work, perform field surveys, document conditions, and help develop rough order of magnitude cost estimates. Travel up to 50% across the US and possibly overseas; hybrid or remote options may be considered.

You will work under a Senior Assessor or Project Manager, apply building systems knowledge, collect data, and contribute to asset management projects.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in, or completion of, a four-year degree in an engineering discipline, facility management, or comparable field of study.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a NACLC clearance from the DoD.
• Valid driver's license and US passport (preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Participate in facility condition assessments and assist Senior Assessors at a variety of building types and facilities.
• Enter field observations and asset information into software tools and review supporting documentation.
• Review assessment information for completeness, consistency, and accuracy; assist with quality control of field data.
• Work collaboratively with Senior Assessors, Project Managers, engineers, and other staff to support multiple projects.
