Junior Events Marketing Assistant - Join Our Team in Rochester, NY

Full Time - Immediate Start - Extensive Training Provided

We are expanding our Event Sales and Marketing department and are in search of a Junior Event Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of pop-up events, Sales, and marketing functions, including customer communications, advertising, and experiential marketing.

This role is well-suited for both graduates and career changers looking to break into the industry. Comprehensive training will be provided, but we are seeking candidates with a creative flair, excellent people skills, and a hunger for acquiring new knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide valuable support to the marketing team in the execution of experiential marketing campaigns.
  2. Collaborate in the implementation of marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, trial, and distribution, including day-to-day involvement in marketing campaigns, event promotions, and sales support.
  3. Cultivate and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our products.
  4. Engage with customers, representing our clients with confidence, professionalism, and transparency.
  5. Comfortable hosting meetings and events and able to identify requirements, establish contacts, and develop schedules.
  6. Present at events and pop-up stands to potential customers.
  7. Acquire new customers and manage contract signing at events.
  8. Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate and coordinating the creation of new materials when necessary.
  9. Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  10. Handle inquiries and address minor objections with confidence.
  11. Keep track of sales interactions and provide valuable feedback to clients.
  12. Showcase promotional sales and top-notch customer service skills.
