Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of estimating, project engineering, field operations, or construction management experience.
• Internship experience with a commercial general contractor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile, Review, and distribute construction documents for estimating to subcontractors.
• Communicate with subcontractors on bid questions and confirm bid participation.
• Assist in preparing conceptual, schematic, design development, and GMP estimates for commercial projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specs, and BIM models.
• Review plans and specs to identify scope and risk.
• Solicit and organize subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Assist with bid leveling and comparative analysis of proposals.
• Support development of project budgets and cost studies.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost data.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walk-throughs.
• Collaborate with PMs, superintendents, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Prepare scopes of work, procurement packages, and bid invites.
• Support value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Prepare estimate summaries and turnover materials.
