Job summary

A-1 Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Junior Estimator to manage estimates and coordinate bids for commercial electrical projects.

Under supervision of the Chief Estimator, you will gather quotes, prepare labor and material budgets, and run take-offs in cloud-based software. The role requires an electrical apprenticeship certificate or 3+ years in construction, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion for an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or 3+ years of construction-related experience.
• Knowledge of electrical methods and ability to read construction documents.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and estimating skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate labor and material costs for commercial projects and perform on-screen electrical take-offs.
• Coordinate bids, manage bid due dates, schedules, and addenda.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure deadlines.
