• Support Estimator in presenting project estimates to company leadership.
• Ensure timely deadlines for all assigned tasks.
• Gather estimating information from project managers, clients, vendors and subcontractors.
• Examine blueprints, specifications and documents to define project scope.
• Research and compile pricing for labor, materials and equipment.
• Assist in evaluating bids from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy.

Job Overview:

The Junior Estimator is an individual looking to get into the construction field and reports directly to the Estimator. Will possess a strong grasp of construction principles, excellent communication abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. Responsible for performing a variety of tasks including looking at construction drawings and measuring/counting pipe lengths, manholes, handholes, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans and specifications to create support with accurate estimating.
• Help with calculating crew costs, including labor, equipment, and daily expenses.
