Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is seeking a Junior Estimator in Boise, Idaho to support the development of cost estimates for design-build and EPC projects. The role involves quantity take-offs, bid reviews, data maintenance, and contributing to bid packages under the guidance of a Lead Estimator.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of estimation or project controls experience, an Associate degree or equivalent, and a foundational understanding of construction methods.

Qualifications

• 2 years of project controls or estimating experience on EPC, Transmission, Substation, or Distribution projects.
• Associate degree or equivalent; combination of work and education may be substituted.
• Basic understanding of construction means and methods and cost estimation fundamentals.

Responsabilités

• Create spreadsheets to track customer information and estimates.
• Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
• Update customer information in a database.
• Organize data in spreadsheets and verify outdated information.
• Prepare final analysis reports for stakeholders to inform bid decisions.
• Coordinate with procurement, scheduling, and project teams for local bidding.
• Attend project meetings and site visits as required.
