Job summary

QISG in Columbus, OH is seeking a Junior Estimator to develop components of EPC construction projects under a Lead Estimator. You will assist with cost databases, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare bid packages, attending project meetings and site visits as required.

You will work with procurement, scheduling, and project teams to coordinate bids, maintain data in InEight, and produce clear, data-driven estimates.

Qualifications

• Experience with EPC or Construction Only Power Delivery projects.
• 2 years of project controls or estimating experience.
• Knowledge of cost databases.

Responsibilities

• Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and estimates.
• Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
• Update customer information in a database.
• Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
• Develop estimates, or estimate components, within the InEight estimating system under the guidance/direction of a Lead Estimator.
• Identify outdated data and coordinate changes to records and databases.
• Prepare reports highlighting trends, patterns, and predictions from data.
