Job summary

PJF Corp. in Layton, UT is seeking a Junior Estimator to support bidding and preconstruction on commercial projects. You will help identify opportunities, coordinate subcontractors, organize bid documentation, and assist in developing competitive estimates.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, enjoy contacting vendors, and communicate clearly to keep bids moving. You will learn about project scopes, pricing, and the estimating process while collaborating with an experienced team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of construction-related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor open-market bid sites for new project opportunities, addenda, RFIs, and other bidding updates.
• Maintain the Project Summary and other internal tracking systems with new leads and bid dates.
• Create and organize project files within Teams and Procore.
• Upload and maintain current plans, specifications, addenda, and other bidding documents.
• Coordinate bid bonds, performance and payment bonds, Certificates of Insurance, and other required bid documentation.
