Job summary

Frederick Fox in Las Vegas seeks a Junior Estimator to join our Estimating and Contracting team. You will support the Senior Estimator by issuing RFPs, preparing detailed cost estimates, and evaluating bids to ensure competitive and accurate outcomes.

You will perform quantity take-offs with Autodesk and Bluebeam, read plans, maintain cost databases in Excel, visit project sites as needed, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align estimates with project goals.

Qualifications

• Internship or entry-level experience in construction estimating or project management.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
• Proficiency with Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam, and MS Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Bid Management: prepare and organize bid proposals with detailed cost breakdowns.
• Take-Offs: perform quantity take-offs using software and maintain organized records.
• Estimating: read plans and prepare cost estimates using historical data.
• Administration: visit project sites, attend weekly meetings, and assist in buyout summaries.
