The role requires takeoff and pricing experience, strong teamwork, and effective communication with internal teams. Candidates should have a civil/structural/equipment-friendly background and familiarity with construction bidding processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience.
• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, architecture, or similar.
• Experience in takeoffs, pricing, and subcontractor communication.

Responsibilities

• Investigates specs and drawings to understand bid requirements.
• Performs takeoffs and calculations accurately and promptly.
• Conducts field visits to gather data on conditions.
• Adjusts bid methods and pricing during the bidding process.
• Negotiates best cost, quality, and delivery with subcontractors.
• Interprets contract documents and project risks.
• Recommends mitigation and pricing strategies for risks.
• Coordinates with Contracts, BD, Engineering, and Operations to price and submit bids.
• Drafts proposals with detailed pricing per RFP specs.
