Job summary

Actalent in Newark, NJ is seeking a Jr Estimator to review full drawing sets and specifications for accuracy and compliance. You will send out fixtures and equipment to vendors for pricing, use specified materials for project assembly, and prepare bills of materials.

Additionally, you will calculate labor hours from the estimates provided. The on-site role offers opportunities to work with experienced professionals, utilize MS Office and estimating software, and contribute to competitive bidding

Qualifications

• Proficiency in estimation and construction processes.
• Experience with bidding and estimating software.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems.
