Job summary

Antea Group is hiring entry-level Environmental Specialists in multiple US locations, including Hartford, CT. The role focuses on site remediation, ESAs, data management, and reporting with 70%-80% travel to support field work and client sites.

Robust safety training and a strong technical support team back the position. Qualifications include a BS in a related field, 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (training provided if needed), and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
• 0–3 years of relevant environmental experience; background in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, or related field
• Must be able to meet safety requirements including HAZWOPER training (training provided if not certified)

Responsibilities

• Support project teams on site remediation activities
• Assist with Phase I and Phase II ESAs and health and safety oversight
• Prepare work and health and safety plans, and safety documentation
• Data entry, management, and analysis; report preparation in multiple formats
