Job summary

AECOM seeks an Entry-Level Environmental Scientist to join our Rocky Hill, CT office, supporting the Remediation team with field and office tasks and building strong project relationships.

The role requires a BA/BS in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field, a valid US driver's license, willingness to travel, and a commitment to health and safety while delivering quality work. Training will be provided to ensure success in site investigations and data collection.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology or related field.
• Valid US Driver’s License and ability to travel may be required.
• U.S. Citizenship is not stated as required, verification occurs during hiring.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard field practices to collect samples of soil, groundwater, surface water and sediment.
• Coordinate with project managers and field staff; support sampling and data collection.
• Interpret laboratory and field data and prepare basic reports.
• Travel frequently within the region and occasionally outside the region within the U.S.
