Job summary

Cherokee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Environmental Field Technician to gain hands-on experience in field sampling, air monitoring, and site assessments.

You will work primarily at project sites with some office time, under supervision, and develop skills in AutoCAD, Excel, GPS data collection, and report writing. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to operate field equipment, with structured training and a 24-month progression plan

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or closely-related discipline from an ABET-accredited curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work for site assessments and air monitoring programs.
• Assist with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Prepare tables in Excel and figures in CAD/GIS.
• Coordinate field work and scheduling of subcontractors.
• Maintain field equipment and coordinate calibrations.
• Prepare and review laboratory data and reports.
