CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Technician to join our Environmental Team in Albany, NY, where you will assist with field sampling, environmental assessments, data review, permitting support, and report preparation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Environmental Science or related field required.
• No prior experience required; internships and/or applicable coursework are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required with the ability to perform field work in various conditions.
• NYSDOL Asbestos Project Monitor License or NYS Asbestos Inspection certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field sampling, surveys, environmental assessments, and research activities.
• Support data analysis, reporting, and the completion of environmental permits.
• Help prepare investigative reports, including tables, figures, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with environmental documentation, permitting, and mitigation planning for a variety of clients.
• Document weekly and monthly field activities for reporting purposes.
• Complete field assignments in a variety of outdoor and job site conditions.
