Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Very limited knowledge of environmental principles and testing methods (entry-level).
Ability to lift and carry field equipment (~40 lbs).
Ability to work outdoors in varying site conditions.
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Responsibilities

Performs and supports field sampling of soils, groundwater, air, etc.
Communicates daily with technicians, project managers, and site personnel as directed.
Attends project meetings with senior staff as requested.
Assists with data collection, basic calculations, and documentation activities.
Prepares clear daily field reports describing site activities and observations.
Learns to calibrate, operate, and maintain field equipment.
Begins to support installation, operation, and maintenance of remediation equipment.
Obtains required certifications as assigned.
