Job summary

AECOM is seeking an entry-level Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental Remediation Practices in Fort Collins or Denver, CO, to support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and work in a collaborative team setting.

ASAP start. Responsibilities include field work, data collection, documentation, and assisting with report preparation, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field; equivalency accepted.
• Valid driver’s license; pre-employment MVR screening.
• Background check is required.
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental field work: collect soil, groundwater data and oversee subcontractors.
• Produce documentation of operation, inspections and compliance.
• Field data collection, processing and interpretation.
• Support office tasks including data analysis and report preparation.
• Interpret data and compare findings to regulations to ensure compliance.
• Travel to project locations including overnight stays.
