Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking an Entry Level Environmental Engineer for employment within our Environmental Remediation Practices group in the Fort Collins or Denver, Colorado offices to support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects.

The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn new skills and methods on challenging field and office assignments in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Willingness to travel to project locations and perform field tasks.
• Pre-employment substance abuse test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental field work: soil, groundwater, data collection and remediation system oversight.
• Produce documentation of operations, inspections and compliance.
• Prepare field documents, collect data, process and interpret results.
• Support office tasks, data analysis and report preparation.
• Interpret data and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Travel to project sites, including driving and overnight stays.
