Job summary

BBJ Group is seeking entry-level geologists, engineers, and scientists to begin careers addressing complex environmental issues and developing into seasoned professionals.

Staff-level consultants work on remediation, environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance, and real estate transaction support projects, with opportunities to grow into project-management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, engineering, or chemistry preferred; strong science core a must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to accommodate travel; valid Driver's License required.
• Autocad, ArcGIS experience and OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Site Investigations/Closures;
• Compliance Audits;
• Risk Assessments;
• Due Diligence - Environmental Site Assessments and Limited Environmental Compliance Reviews;
• Storm water management and spill prevention considerations;
• Remedial system design and implementation;
• Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.
