Our Staff Level Consultants receive the opportunity to kickstart their careers by addressing complex environmental issues and developing into seasoned professionals. This role offers numerous opportunities:

  • Growth and training toward larger project-management responsibilities
  • Opportunity to grow into a well-rounded environmental consultant- working on remediation, environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance, and real estate transaction support projects
  • Exposure to working with clients in a wide variety of industries, including well-known global companies

What Kinds of Projects can I expect to work on?

At BBJ Group, we believe it’s important that our early in career consultants are exposed to a wide variety of project types. This allows them to grow more quickly and provide multi-faceted perspectives to our clients. Staff-level consultants routinely get to work on projects including:

  • Site Investigations/Closures
  • Compliance Audits
  • Risk Assessments
  • Due Diligence - Environmental Site Assessments, Limited Environmental Compliance Reviews
  • Storm water pollution prevention and management
  • Spill prevention and regulatory compliance
  • Remedial system design and implementation; and
  • Environmental, Health, and Safety audits

Other Important Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in geology, engineering, or chemistry preferred; strong science core a must

  • Strong organizational and time management skillsFlexibility to accommodate travel - Must possess a valid Driver's License
  • Autocad, ArcGIS experience and OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus
Compensation Range

BBJ Group provides compensation ranges that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
