You will support global offices from our Pittsburgh location, evaluating process options, analyzing equipment data, and contributing to design and cost studies for gas handling and mine ventilation projects. The role is suited to recent graduates with a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, a solid GPA, and a willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduates with relevant engineering skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate process alternatives and equipment/technology selection.
• Analyze existing equipment data to improve throughput and/or cost.
• Participate in studies and projects in metals and minerals with focus on gas handling and mine ventilation.
• Perform mass and energy balance calculations and prepare process flow diagrams.
• Prepare design calculations and technical specs for gas handling and ventilation equipment; travel for on-site measurements.
