Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a Junior/Mid-level Structured Energy Originator to support our Commodities and Global Markets team in the Americas. You will originate, structure, execute and manage bespoke oil transactions, leveraging financing, risk management, trading and logistics capabilities.

You will work with senior originators across opportunities in the oil markets, preparing client materials, reviewing cashflow models, and coordinating with risk, trading and logistics teams to drive

Qualifications

• 1–3 years relevant oil markets experience at a bank, commodity trade house or corporate.
• Understanding of the oil market and derivatives; commodity financing structures a plus.
• Demonstrated financial analysis, modelling, structuring, and execution skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to partner with stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities along the commodity supply chain and structure bespoke transactions.
• Prepare client presentations, term sheets, and cashflow models; manage closing.
