Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking a Junior Endpoint Systems Administrator to support endpoint management and enterprise IT operations for the NICHD program in Bethesda, Maryland.

You will help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of Windows endpoints and related enterprise services through imaging, configuration, software deployment, troubleshooting, patch management, compliance support, and end-user assistance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows endpoints and peripherals.
• Experience with software deployment, patching, baselines, and endpoint security compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or 7 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Configure, image, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows endpoints, apps, peripherals, and related services.
• Support software distribution, patching, basel ines, and endpoint security compliance using SCCM, JAMF Pro, BigFix, or assigned tools.
• Assist with Active Directory administration, Group Policy, Windows Server environments, VMware, PowerShell scripting, permissions management, and endpoint tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printing, connectivity, access, and configuration issues.
• Document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues while maintaining ownership of assigned work.
• Maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with end users throughout the service and support lifecycle.
• Support organizational security, change management, and compliance requirements.
