Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking a Junior Endpoint Systems Administrator in Bethesda, MD to support endpoint management and IT operations for the NICHD program. You’ll ensure Windows endpoints are reliable, secure, and well-supported through imaging, configuration, deployment, patching, and troubleshooting.

The role requires hands-on endpoint administration experience, strong troubleshooting, and a commitment to exceptional customer service while supporting mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows endpoints and related devices.
• Knowledge of endpoint management including software deployment, patching, and security compliance.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, SCCM, JAMF Pro, and VMware.
• Ability to follow SOPs, security procedures, and ticketing processes.

Responsibilities

• Configure, image, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows endpoints and applications.
• Support software distribution, patching, baselines, and endpoint security compliance.
• Assist with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, VMware, and PowerShell tasks.
• Diagnose hardware/software issues and document incidents in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues while maintaining ownership of work.
• Maintain configuration records, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
